PHAR Saudi launches joint venture with Watershade Advertising
PHAR Saudi has launched a joint venture with Watershade Advertising - a leading advertising agency headquartered in Riyadh, who work with a number of clients in the region, and are part of ESNA Group. The venture, signed last week will be called Watershade PHAR and will aim to replicate PHAR's work in non-sporting areas such as airline advertising, transport infrastructure partnerships and generating incomes around sustainability.
Keith Impey, who heads up PHAR's presence in the GCC region said: ‘PHAR Saudi is delighted to announce this exciting development for the Middle East market. We have been operating in Riyadh for one year now in the sports area and this new venture represents our expansion into sponsorship partnerships around existing and new infrastructures to mirror our credentials in Europe and Asia with transports systems, petrol stations and tourist attractions. We are particularly excited about ESNA Group's contract with Makkah Municipality where they have the rights to commercialise Makkah, which will appeal to our partners and clients in other Muslim countries in which we work, for example Indonesia and Malaysia. We look forward to building this new division with Watershade and their team in both Saudi and other GCC countries’
Mr Ibrahim A. Alhedaithy (Chairman, Watershade Advertising) said: 'We are pleased to have teamed up with such a successful and fast growing company as Phar for our new division in Saudi and expansion into other GCC countries in the future. We look forward to working with Keith Impey and his team who have excellent credentials to bring to us from Europe and Asia'
